Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you about which data is processed when you visit the Zykluswissen (www.zykluswissen-ratgeber.de).

2. Hosting & server log files

When you access our pages, our hosting provider automatically collects access data (server log files) for technical reasons: the page accessed, date and time, the amount of data transferred, the referrer URL, the browser and operating system used, and the IP address. This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — legitimate interest). The log files are deleted or anonymised after a short time.

3. Views, likes & comments

For each article we display aggregated counters (views, likes). These are recorded anonymously and without any personal reference; no usage profiles are created. When a view or like is counted, the request is transmitted to our interface (api.menstruflow.de); your IP address is only briefly evaluated to limit abuse and spam and is not permanently stored (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The comments shown below articles originate from the menstruflow App and are displayed here only in approved form.

4. Local storage (localStorage)

So that a view or like is only counted once per device, we store small technical markers in your browser (localStorage). This information remains on your device, is not transmitted to third parties and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. No consent is required for this strictly necessary technical storage.

5. Consent & cookie banner (consent management)

We only set optional cookies and services (e.g. web analytics) with your consent. On your first visit we ask for this via a consent banner. As our consent management platform we use Cookiescript(cookie-script.com), which stores and enforces your choice. We use Google Consent Mode v2: by default all optional categories are denied; analytics services are only loaded after your active consent. You can change or revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie banner or cookie settings (Art. 6 (1) (a), Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

6. Web analytics: Google Analytics 4 & Microsoft Clarity

Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), embedded via Google Tag Manager. GA4 sets cookies and processes, among other things, your (Google-truncated) IP address, device and browser information and your usage behaviour in order to statistically evaluate and improve the use of our website. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, supplemented by standard contractual clauses. You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie settings. For more information, see Google's privacy policy.

Also only with your consent, we use Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service of Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). Clarity creates anonymised usage statistics, heatmaps and session recordings (mouse, scroll and click movements) to improve the usability of our website; inputs and text content are masked by default. Clarity sets cookies (including _clck,_clsk). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to Microsoft Corporation in the USA; Microsoft is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, supplemented by standard contractual clauses. 7. Advertisements

Advertising banners may appear in the header and footer areas. These are delivered purely contextually — there is no tracking and no evaluation based on your behaviour or health data. Any view/click counters are anonymous and aggregated.

8. Fonts

We use exclusively locally embedded fonts. No fonts are loaded from external providers (e.g. Google Fonts); no data is transmitted to third parties in the process.

9. Newsletter

If you use the newsletter form, your details are transmitted to and processed by our shop (menstruflow.de). Registration takes place using the double opt-in procedure on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can revoke at any time. Details can be found in the privacy policy of our shop.

10. External links

Our pages contain links to external services (including the App Store, Google Play, our shop, Instagram, TikTok). Only when you click on such a link is data transmitted to the respective provider; the provider's data protection provisions then apply.

11. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) as well as the right to object to processing (Art. 21) and to revoke a consent you have given (Art. 7 (3)). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
